The research I have done has allowed me to reach the following conclusions. A two or three channel helicopter gives a lot of pleasure and lots of fun. They are great as toys for children or grownups. Todays children are remarkable in their ability to learn to fly, while the grownups mostly require a steeper learning curve. If the model helicopter bug bites and you become addicted ( not a bad thing). Your next step is to to move up in price and flyability and purchase a four or greater channel helicopter. The skills needed to fly a four or more channel helicopter are diferent from those learned in the less complex machines. But the possibility of aerobatics and more advanced flying are then open to you.
